'Visit Yunguilla'

If you feel that living amidst the towering skyscrapers of Quito is not for you, then better go and live in the countryside, where it is more peaceful.

One rural area that has been getting much information is Yunguilla, a long valley that starts from the south of Cuenca and ends near the port of Machala. Interestingly, properties in this area are usually owned by those from the middle- and upper-classes, but this does not prevent real estate costs from being relatively cheap.
