Ecuador is not only known for Galapagos. It is also well known for its rich old-growth rainforests and pristine surroundings.
We should never allow these rainforests--and the flora and fauna living within--to perish and disappear in a flash. Efforts are being done to ensure that the rainforests are protected from deforestation. But this is not enough.
