Living Independently Despite a Disability

social welfare Living Independently Despite a Disability
I am not a physically disabled person. Luckily, I still have my four limbs to help me through everyday living. What about those who are physically handicapped? Those who live the rest of their lives on a wheelchair because of an accident? How does it feel? Surely, it is difficult. Who wouldn't, when you're already used to having 4 limbs with you? In the end, they end up living dependently on family and friends, which, unless you do not have pride at all, can be really depressing.

This is why the CITTI Project Ecuador was organized to help this individuals to lead a more productive and independent life after a tragedy. There's always an opportunity to lead a better life. It's just a matter of will and perserverance.
