Natural Nature Patrimony of Humanity

11/04/09 08:14

The Galápagos Islands are located 950 km. from Ecuador and are made up of 13 large, 6 small islands and a sprinkling of small "keys". Its connection to Charles Darwin and the theory of evolution is direct. This is where Charles saw evolution at work and it is still considered a natural laboratory to this day. There is a permanent population of approximately 30,000 persons most of whom make a living from the tourism the islands are famous for. You will enjoy natural delights, of course, transparent blue waters with amazing sea life. Not to speak of the also amazing fauna. An awsome experience in itself!
