In an ever globalizing environment, limiting political power to those who are geographically living in a nation. Those who are rightful citizens living outside the country should also have the power to choose their leaders and be represented.

This is especially true in the case of Ecuador. This is why President Correa promised last year to create a fifth "region" that will represent Ecuadoreans living abroad.
