Ecuador is more than a place where you can find endless galleries of mountains you can hike up. Ecuador is also a haven for all the bird lovers out there, as this nation is a site to more than 1,600 unique bird species--truly a bird watcher's dream. Most of these species can be found in the Sierra (Highlands), the Amazon Jungle (of course), and the coastal areas--primarily rural you see, but you can still see some in urban areas.
